The measurements in the charts below are to be used as a guide only. Body measurements are given in inches. If your child's measurements fall between sizes, choose the larger size.
Variations in the measurements of the actual garment are due to wearing ease and stylistic considerations.
The following are instructions on how to take body measurements of your child:
- Measure the breast or chest at the fullest point. Make sure the tape is taut but not tight.
- Measure the waist at the natural waist line. The waist should be relaxed and not held in; otherwise, the measurement will be inaccurate. For comfort, the tape measure should be snug, but not too tight.
- Measure the back length by finding the bone at the base of the neck. Measure from the base of the neck to the natural waistline.
- Measure the hip at its fullest part. The exact position of the hips varies with the individual.
